Hi! I’m Jeremy Portillo
As you can probably see, I’m a big fan of high-performance homes. I’ve lived in seven houses from seven different decades and each one seemed to be built worse than the last. To me, this is unacceptable! I’ve dedicated my career as a licensed architect to improving how we build homes. Not just for the sake of human health, safety and wellness, but also to do better for our one and only planet we all share.
I spent the first third of my career carefully detailing buildings for weather tightness against the elements, the next third designing beautiful custom homes along the Gulf Coast, and the most recent years seeking to improve every step of the construction process to make your home work better than you ever imagined.
Outside of the office, I’m usually wrangling four children with my wonderful wife Dana. We love spending time out in nature, eating foreign foods, playing with legos, and watching Star Wars and Marvel movies. Personally, I’ve got a soft spot for the symphony and enjoy swimming, gardening, lifting, and classic car shows. I’m also a past president of two non-profits in south Alabama.
